DJ Pete Augusta
Sundays 11p
Pete Augusta has sunk his teeth into the roots of Chicago music. Not only is he an accomplished DJ spinning fresh beats in the city that gave birth to House, he produces music independently and professionally with a number of artist across the country. Working under every aspect of nightlife for over a decade he has musical karma from artists nationwide and isn't afraid to spit out underground hits from the DJ booth relentlessly until the masses start to sweat and the walls shed their paint.
Augusta holds court every Sunday at Cocktail (3359 N Halsted, Chicago), bringing the freshest sounds from across the globe to the ever popular night of Electro House, Dubstep, Nu Disco, and Progressive music. He is also the accomplished Music Director for the venue booking entertainment and scouting for new talent. With the inevitable launch of Augusta’s record label make sure to keep an ear to the floor or you might just miss a groove so deep it cuts through pop charts like a hot razor.
Each live set he plays is filtered through years of experience in the industry. Performing along side veteran DJ’s of Chicago he has mastered the art of tying together beats with a irresistible knack for perfectly timed jaw dropping club hits. Floor shaking bass heavy Electro House is his craft and its not uncommon to hear original works in the mix, though he doesn't like to advertise. Dancing through the gauntlet of nightlife, there isn't’t a system he can’t punish just enough to keep the sound tech near by.
Pulling the strings behind the decks, there is never a dull moment when Augusta does his damage.

Zita Zie
Saturdays - Rotating Diva Deejays
Zita’s musical journey started at the early age of 7 when she mastered playing classical music on the violin, but never in her wildest dreams did she think she would take her hometown of Chicago by storm as a well respected DJ, producer and online radio personality in adulthood. Born and raised in Hungary, Zita attended a special elementary school dedicated to music where she studied music theory, choir, recorder and playing her violin before eventually moving to the USA at the age of 14 with her parents.
Once in the States, Zita focused solely on the violin during her high school years by playing with local string quartets and various theater productions before being honored to play with the Northbrook Symphony and later the Chamber Music International Music Festival in Prague. At the encouragement of her parents Zita went on to further her formal education by attending North Park University and then later the University of Illinois at Chicago where she obtained an advanced degree to serve as back-up to her passion for a career in music.

Dj Wak
Saturday Resident
DJ Wak hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma (ssh, don't judge her) but the oakies simply couldn't contain her creative juices so she ventured to Chicago where she acquired a B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago focusing in sound, video and performance art. Over the past nine years as a DJ, Wak has concentrated on the relationship between the audience and the music she plays. She has the desire to create a dynamic environment, ever changing the unspoken conversation between the music and the people. DJ Wak wants to make you dance (dance, I say!).
Over the course of her career as a DJ, she has spun as the opening act for artists such as KC and the Sunshine Band, The Pointer Sisters and Sheena Easton. DJ Wak has also spun at such venues as The House of Blues, Hydrate, Coobah, Berlin, Temptations and Spin. But it's here, at Cocktail, where DJ Wak has finally made a home for herself where she can pump her favorite House tracks and let her freak flag fly high!

Dj Sean O'hara
Saturday Resident
Never standing still, DJ Sean O'Hara has traveled the globe for more than a decade, spreading his electronic message to the masses. With his driving bass lines and echoing vocals, Sean has created a distinct style and smoothness not found in many artists today. Whether it be in Los Angeles, Miami, Shanghai or South Korea, Sean continues to uplift clubbers worldwide.
Although Sean’s early years were spent traveling all over the world with his parents, England was always considered home, until the early 90's when Sean moved to the United States.
Without wasting anytime after setting foot on US soil, O’Hara made a big impact in the south east states. Sean settled in Florida and established residencies at world renowned Club @ Firestone in Orlando, Parthenon in Tampa and Salvation in Miami.
Blending progressive house, progressive trance and tribal house with a touch of electro house, Sean always takes his audience on an unforgettable journey.
Everyone can see that music is his guiding force when they watch Sean perform. Every beat he puts out consumes him and his audience. He has rocked dance floors from Miami to Los Angeles, hitting every major city in between, and was the guest DJ that ended an era at legendary Motor club in Detroit in the 90’s.
After rocking in the Millennium in Atlanta, and years of touring the States, O’Hara decided to move over to the west coast.
In 2006, Sean accepted a residency at Avalon Hollywood where he would perform until the early hours of the morning, pleasing hundreds of fans weekend after weekend. He was also a resident at the famous Hollywood Canteen Sunday party that attracted hundreds weekly.
In 2007 after his tour in Asia, Sean continued to perform locally and at other major events, but wanted to take some time away from the club scene and get in touch with the producer inside. After spending countless hours in the studio, Sean is ready to rock dance floors once again worldwide.
